Shijiazhuang Customs Launched Particular Action to Protect Intellectual Property Rights

In order to effectively crackdown on illegal acts of import and export infringing goods, further strengthen the customs protection of intellectual property rights, curb the trend of import and export infringements, and create a good business environment, started from February 1, Shijiazhuang Customs has launched the 11-month special action for intellectual property protection name "Dragon Action 2021". According to reports, this is the fifth consecutive year that Shijiazhuang Customs has carried out this particular action.
 
According to Wu Jing, deputy director of the Shijiazhuang Customs Regulations and Comprehensive Business Division, in 2020, the customs severely cracked down on import and export infringements and detained nine batches of suspected infringing goods, including footwear, strollers, and auto parts, involving 9,167 cases, an 2.8 times increase from the same period last year. The value is about 1.26 million yuan, an increase of four times.
 
In 2021, Shijiazhuang Customs will further strengthen law enforcement, comprehensively strengthen the supervision of infringing high-risk commodities, support independent innovation of import and export enterprises, create a fair and orderly business environment for import and export enterprises, and promote the high-quality development of Hebei's foreign trade.
