On January 28, the University of Science and Technology of China issued a solemn statement through the official WeChat account of the school's alumni association, requested relevant institutions to stop infringements, and immediately eliminated adverse effects.
For this reason, the University of Science and Technology of China solemnly declared that the word "China Keda" is not only the abbreviation of the school's name but also a registered trademark of the school. The school owns the name and trademark exclusive rights of the "China Keda" by law. There is no factual or legal connection between Guangzhou Vocational and Technical University of Science and Technology, “China Keda Education Group Limited” and the school, and the school has never authorized "China Keda Education Group Limited" to use the word "China Keda" as its corporate name. To protect the school's legitimate rights and interests and maintain regular market order, the school requires relevant institutions to stop infringements and eliminate adverse effects immediately.
