The reporter learned from China National Intellectual Property Administration that since the "Blue Sky" special rectification action for the intellectual property agency industry has been launched for two years, a total of 2,950 patent and trademark agencies have been interviewed. Various patent and trademark agency violations of laws and regulations have been severely cracked down, and the industry development environment has obviously improved.
Since 2019, CNIPA has organized a nationwide "blue sky" special rectification action for the intellectual property agency industry. Through striking illegal patent agency, crackdown on irregular trademark and patent application agency, intensified investigation and handling of major cases and other measures, it has comprehensively strengthened industry supervision.
Lei Xiaoyun, Director of the Department of Application Promotion of CNIPA, introduced that during the past two years since the "Blue Sky" campaign was launched, 2,950 patent and trademark agencies were interviewed, 1,095 were ordered to rectify, 330 cases were filed and investigated, and 182 administrative penalties were imposed.
