Recently, with the completion of the link between the patent information sharing platforms of Yantai, Weifang, and Weihai IPOs and the Central Platform in Shandong, the intellectual property information public service platform net has been set up across Shandong, realizing the patent resource sharing for Shandong Province.

The public, enterprises and scientific research could use the provincial central platform or any sub-platform in each municipality for patent searching and industrial statistics and analysis. The dada base includes patent information of China, the U.S., Japan, Germany, Britain, France, Switzerland, Korea, Russia, Southeast Asia, Arab Region, European, WIPO, Hong Kong and Taiwan, and users could download and print the data and make statistics and analysis for specific industries, so to forecast the developing trend for the industry and relevant technologies, estimate the life circle of the product and technology, and choose effectively the market.

The successful link between the central information platform and platforms in all municipalities could exert better the function of the central platform and offer a nicer service for the whole society, enterprises and scientific research departments.
