On September 1 and 2, the National Copyright Administration of China (NCAC) held a working conference on copyright law enforcement in grass roots in Baotou city, Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region, which is the third term in 2009. Over 100 law enforcers took part in the conference from the 12 provinces (districts, cities) in East China, South China and Central China. Deputy Director of the General Administration of Press and Publication and Deputy Director of NCAC Yan Xiaohong attended and addressed the opening ceremony.
To help copyright law enforcers to master modern technologies and basic skills of law enforcement so as to adapt the changes caused by network technologies, since this July, NCAC developed training activities for local copyright law enforcers in Shandong and Jiangxi. Till now, more than 350 grass root law enforcers were trained. NCAC plans to finish the professional training of law enforcers in the whole nation within three years.
