Lately, to purify network cultural environment, intensify copyright protection and combat network infringement and piracy actions, Penglai Press and Publication Management Office joined hands with Penglai Municipal Public Security Bureau to officially start special campaign on fighting against network infringement and piracy.

According to the united deployment of Shandong province and Yantai city, Penglai Press and Publication Management Office worked out 2009 Scheme on Fighting Against Network Infringement and Piracy. The special campaign will last two months, i.e. from September 3 to the end of this October and will experience four stages including publicity, investigation, collectively rectification and solidification of the work results. This campaign will particularly investigate network films and TVs, music works, literature websites and news transshipment.
