Gansu and Kunming become new members of The National Intellectual Property Protection Center

On September 7, the National Intellectual Property Administration approved the establishment of the China (Gansu) and China (Kunming) Intellectual Property Protection Centers, and it brings the number of Intellectual Property Protection Centers nationwide to 36.

Gansu and Kunming Protection Center are the first Intellectual Property Rights (IPR) Protection Center in each province respectively. They are also the fourth and fifth Intellectual Property Protection Center of the west region. They are of great significance to promote the western region of intellectual property protection system construction, promote power and intellectual property protection level in the west of China’s development.

Gansu Protection Center provides rapid collaborative IPR protection services for advanced manufacturing, energy conservation and environmental protection industries. As the first IPR protection center serving the whole province in Northwest China, Gansu Protection Center will closely cooperate with the "One Belt and One Road" construction strategy to support the construction of the Silk Road IPR Port.

Kunming Protection Center carry out the fast collaborative services for the protection of intellectual property for biological products manufacturing and intelligent manufacturing equipment industry. Through strengthen the intellectual property service level, and creating a favorable business environment, the radiation and demonstration effect of Kunming as China's open to South Asia and Southeast China could be consolidated.
