US & German IP Experts Visit Jiangsu IP Aid Center

On August 26, Nelson Gary J. from the Los Angeles Intellectual Property Law Association of U.S. and well-known German IP expert Michael Guiliana and other two visited China (Jiangsu) Intellectual Property Aid Center and discussed IP issues with the principals of the center. Director Assistant of the Intellectual Property Office of Jiangsu Province Gao Donghui was present at the symposium.

Experts also visited Jiangsu Patent Information Center and gave high praise on the basic construction and the work of the two centers. During the discussion, Nelson Gary J. introduced systems of IP protection and IP professional training in the U.S., and Michael Guiliana elaborated the situation of German IP development and IP talents training. Gao introduced briefly the IP protection in Jiangsu and said they should learn and take the two countries’ advanced experience as examples to boost Jiangsu’s IP development. The two sides also consulted on the IP protection in commercial exhibitions overseas.

Both sides have expressed the wish to further enhance communication and cooperation, set up a more scientific cooperative mechanism and promote the IP protection and IP talent training.
