On August 25, the united research group consisting of the State Intellectual Property Office (SIPO), the Central Committee of the Jiu San Society, the Office of the Subcommittee for Handing Proposals of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference (CPPCC), National Development and Reform Commission, the Ministry of Science and the State Administration for Industry and Commerce (SAIC) held a symposium on the united research of national IP strategy implementation ministry joint conference.

The joint research targets to better advance the implementation of national IP strategy and the development of IP work by widely soliciting opinions, constituting perfect policies and creating favorable environment. The research group including 14 people from relevant departments of SIPO, the Subcommittee for Handing Proposals of CPPCC and the Central S&T Committee of the Jiu San Society had a report given by the related departments of Guangdong province on the economic situation in the Pearl River Delta, IP work and the implementation of local IP strategies.
