On August 26, Vice Commissioner of the State Intellectual Property Office (SIPO) Li Yuguang, Vice President of the People's Government of Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region Chen Zhangliang and Vice Governor of Shanxi Provincial People's Government Zhang Ping visited National Patent Industrialization Pilot Base (Xiamen).
Li Yuguang fully affirmed the development of IP work in Xiamen and the work of National Patent Industrialization Pilot Base (Xiamen). As for IP exchange and cooperation with Taiwan province, Li encouraged Xiamen to thoroughly implement Several Opinions of the State Council on Supporting Fujian to Quicken the Construction of the Economic Zone on the West Bank of the Taiwan Straits and develop IP exchange and cooperation among the civilians between Taiwan Straits. Li Yuguang expressed that, SIPO will give Xiamen more help and support.
Director of Xiamen Municipal IP Office Xu Wendong gave a report on the construction and operation of National Patent Industrialization Pilot Base (Xiamen), how Ximen implemented Several Opinions of the State Council on Supporting Fujian to Quicken the Construction of the Economic Zone on the West Bank of the Taiwan Straits in IP work, and the IP protection and communication mechanism between Xiamen and Taiwan.
