Traditional Mazu Culture Celebrated

The fourth Global Mazu Culture Forum was held from October 31 to November 2 on Meizhou Island, Putian city. Worship of the Chinese sea goddess, Mazu, is a folk custom prevalent along China's southeastern coast. Mazu belief and customs have been added to the UNESCO Representative List of Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity. The three-day event had 50 activities scheduled.
