China and Japan sign IP protection MOU

Lately, Director of the State Administration for Industry and Commerce (SAIC) Zhou Bohua and Officer of Japan Economic Industry Province ToshihiroNikai respectively signed memorandums on IP protection in Beijing and Tokyo and exchanged the memorandum texts in Beijing.

Based on the memorandums of understanding, China and Japan will develop cooperation on trademark registration, examination, dissidence, reexamination and management, crackdown upon imitation, anti-unfair competition related to IPRs, IP protection related to network, the enhancement the IP awareness of consumers and trademark users, etc.
