International law firm Withers has hired a partner to its Los Angeles office.
Gina Bibby, who joins from Brutzkus Gubner Rozansky Seror Weber, specialises in fashion technology, advising start-ups and fashion brands on how best to protect their innovations.
She advises on patent, copyright and trademark procurement and enforcement, and has significant litigation and trial experience in complex IP issues such as unfair competition, false advertising and trade secret matters.
Michael Brophy, managing director of Withers’ LA office said Bibby’s practice is a "welcome addition" to the firm’s IP capabilities in California.
"We look forward to her fashion-tech expertise enriching our Los Angeles team. As client demand for skilled IP and tech advice continues to grow, we will continue to look at adding the best talent to the firm," Brophy said.
