In order to implement "Programme of the Special Campaign on Protecting WE IPRs", create a favorable IP protection environment and promote the IP administrative law enforcement join, on August 13, 2009, Shanghai Municipal IP Joint Conference Office convened a meeting to coordinate the cognizance of infringing goods concerning IP during the law enforcement process and the remove of the infringing goods between administrative departments. The representatives from related departments including Legal Affairs Office of Shanghai Municipal People's Government, Municipal Bureau for Industry and Commerce and other three departments attended the meeting. Each law enforcement department introduced the legal basis in solving infringing goods and made discussion on the problems appeared in the process of law enforcement.

It is learnt that, the law enforcement departments would return the goods sold in road-occupying stalls to the owners after cases' disposal; but the illegal goods will be removed to related departments. In order to establish a long-term mechanism on city inspection, the representatives of related departments put forward some suggestions at the meeting. They expressed that in order to create a favorable soft environment for WE, each department should strive to do the work well and make mutual and close cooperation.
