On 17-25 August 2009, IPR2 will continue its co-operation with the Ministry of Information Industry and Technology (MIIT) to implement a third series of training sessions on IP management in Shenyang, Fuzhou and Hangzhou, as part of informing Chinese decision makers, on the use, function and legality of IPRs and to increase the knowledge-base of Chinese industry on how to file and acquire, valorise and enforce IP rights.

This extends similar training given in Beijing, Xi’an and Jiangyin in May 2009 and Shanghai, Guangzhou, Dongguan and Changzhou in 2008, in which some 900 members of industry and government officials have participated.
