WTO receives IPR complaint raised by the U.S. against China, MOFCOM spokesman

On August 12, WTO dispute solving panel officially distributed to WTO members an experts' team report on the case between China and the U.S. over market access of publications.
Yao Jian, spokesman of Ministry of Commerce, said in his speech, after the accession of WTO, China has taken seriously in the fulfillment of obligations under the WTO Agreements. It is convenient to import foreign publications, films and audio-video products into China's market.
During the one-year-long settlement by experts' panel, Chinese side explained legal measures about the import and distribution of publications, films and audio-video products, and expounded China's stance and attention.
China appraised the support from experts' panel, and felt regret to part of its decision on the above-mentioned complaint.
And China will seriously evaluate the ruling of experts' panel, and not rule out the possibility of appeal.
