IP lawsuit cases increase over 30% in China

Learnt from the forum held by Beijing Kangxin, P.C., lawsuit cases concerning intellectual property rights in China were annually increasing at a speed of 30% or more.

The theme of the forum was Experts' Views on Enterprises' IP Lawsuits and IP law experts elaborated enterprises' patent protection and lawsuit affaires on patent infringement. The 140 attendees from enterprises' IP departments and legal sections further understood the registration of IP lawsuits and the judgement of enterprises' patent infringement. According to Yu Gang, partner of Beijing Kangxin, P.C., the IP situation that Chinese enterprises confronted was more and more serious, especially the frequent infringement lawsuits. The patent lawsuits among domestic enterprises were also increasing fast, which brought pressure to enterprises' development. How to raise ability in coping with patent infringement has become a course that enterprises must learn.
