According to the People's Court official report, the painting carefully created by well-known painter were sold as embroidery on a website by a company. The well-known painter sued the company for rights and demanded compensation of 1 million Yuan. The case was judged by Suzhou Huqiu District People's Court in accordance with the law. The defendant company immediately stopped the infringement and compensated the plaintiff for economic losses and reasonable expenses totaling 60,000 Yuan. After the judgement, the plaintiff filed an appeal, but Suzhou Huqiu District People's Court recently ruled in the final judgment: dismissed the appeal and upheld the original judgment.
