In order to promote the principle of social co-governance in IPR protection, improve the comprehensive online governance and strengthen the international communication and cooperation on IPR, the 2018 China-EU Conference on IPR Protection Online and Innovation was successfully held from November 3 to 5 in Xiamen. The conference aims to launch professional communication and cooperation on IPR protection, demonstrate the efforts and exploration of China and EU on international IPR protection online, promote the interaction and exchanges between Chinese and EU companies in economic, technical, judicial and cultural fields, extend the influence of China and EU in IPR, oppose the unilateralism in economic activities and trade and boost the IP-based better and faster development of economic and trade globalization. The conference was held under the guidance of Xiamen Free Trade Zone, the Office of Xiamen Leading Group on Fight against IPR Infringement and Counterfeiting and Xiamen Intellectual Property Administration, jointly sponsored by China Anti-Infringement and Anti-Counterfeit Innovation Strategic Alliance (CAASA) and IP Key China of EU and organized by CAASA Beijing Branch.
