EPO Vice-President Visited the JPO

On October 17, Mr. Lutz, Vice-President of the European Patent Office (EPO), visited the Japan Patent Office (JPO). He had discussions with Mr. Shimano, Deputy Commissioner of the JPO, on the Trilateral Cooperation (JPO-EPO-USPTO), the IP5 Cooperation, patent law harmonization, patent examination quality and the future cooperative framework between the two offices.
