JPO Conducted Training Course on Promoting Public Awareness of IP

From August 6 to August 10, 2018, JPO conducted the Training Course on Promoting Public Awareness of IP. This Course is designed mainly for individuals from the public sector and employees at universities, who are involved in promoting the intellectual property (IP) system. In the course this time, a total of 22 trainees from 11 countries participated in the course.
During the course, the trainees listened to presentations about activities that the JPO and Japanese companies are conducting to raise awareness on the importance of IP. Also, the trainees discussed initiatives and shared ideas with each other on public awareness campaigns on IP that are being conducted in their respective countries.
