In Indonesia, the words “intellectual property” being used officially for the first time on Law No. 7 year 1994 relating the legalization of Agreement Establishing the World Trade Organization.As a member of  WIPO (World Intellectual Property), Indonesia has ratify some international agreements, such as Berne Convention for the Protection of Literary and Artistic Works, Paris Convention for the Protection of Industrial Property, Patent.
